Agreed. Been watching UT football since 1981, and he was the best. I was pretty young when Johnnie Jones was playing, but a lot of people say he was amazing too.

I remember Webb running in the rain and kicking up a rooster tail on the artificial turf in Neyland.

I was at the Cotton Bowl when he ran for 250 yards on Arkansas. It was a mis-match. And if he hadn't hurt himself against Pacific the following year, oh my...

Everyone is forgetting one person, and I'm not sure how it happened.

WR- Benji Shular

Does anyone think Billy Ratliffe should be on this list?

Billy Ratliff most definitely had the talent to be one of the all-time greats not just at UT, but in college football in general. Unfortunately injuries derailed his career.

As for me, I have no doubt that had he stayed healthy, he'd be an NFL All-Pro to this day and would be looking at enshrinement into the College HOF.

I know he ended up at RB, but wasn't he originally a WR that got moved to RB out of necessity?

that's possible. i'm just saying if he's going to be on this team, it would have to be at rb, since that was his primary position.

Just checking on here. don't yell at me for this, but, has anyone considered David Martin for TE? I know Witten stepped up in '03 because we didn't have any great receivers at the time. Just a thought.

If individual acheivements get it, then it's "The Cheese" for me at RB (All time rushing leader). Lewis hardly played after his freshman year then jetted after his Junir season.

For TE I would have said Dustin Moore (saw JasonCajun mention him). Had he kept his head on straight, he could have been one of the best ever.
