Sounds like the same BS we were handed about Dooley. Was that one of your post as well. Almost verbatim to what was being said about Dooley. When we finally found out what he was like and did to our program all the rats ran off the ship.I disagree. When you consider the hands he's been dealt so far and what he's done with them, there's just no way. People here are far too unrealistic as far as expectations, it's just how this fanbase is. Guarantee after we get fisted game after game this upcoming football season in which we struggle to 6 wins(which is realistic), people will be calling for Jones' head.
We're in no position to be firing coaches and Martin's doing everything right as far as Cheek is concerned.
I agree if he can't win/get us to the tournament next year then he's not our guy. Regardless, I don't see him gone after next season either.
I think we can all lay that one on the defense, the martin bromance is way strong with some of you people. as with Dooley when reality hit Ut finally did the right thing.

Gah Tennessee has the worst basketball fans. We aren't a basketball powerhouse, this isn't north Carolina, we won 20 gms and by a lot of people's opinions got snubbed in the draft. We will be a fixture in the top 25 next year and then all the people complaining can shut up

I have been a Cuonzo supporter up until tonight. He didn't care about this game and he showed it in the way he prepared his team and the decisions he made during the game. If the team is wearing Tennessee Volunteers on the uniform and there is a scoreboard, the coach and the team should have enough pride to "give their all for Tennessee."
Once a loser always a loser. This is Cuonzo's answer to Dooley at Kentucky last year.
I find it sad you let an NIT game flip your opinion of our head coach. Seems like you'd let the games that actually matter determine your opinion.
This isn't the first coach or team to mail in an NIT game, nor will it be the last.
