This is a totally different question. Let's clarify it a little more. Since all the top teams are in the NCAA, would it be possible for the 2014-15 Vols to win the NIT? We have no national post season tournament banners in TBA for men's basketball. They are all women's. Could these Vols win the NIT and get us one?Translation of the original post...
I didn't get the answer I wanted in the other poll, so here goes again.
Not surprisingly, an overwhelming majority views the world differently than SD.
Forum would be pretty dead without the Great Kreskin, wouldn't it? I see the possibility of an NIT Championship this year not an NCAA Championship. Let's address them one by one. Rick Byrd is one of the greatest coaches in college basketball. You all said he wasn't good enough because he wasn't from a power conference. Ask Donnie Tyndall how good he is. I'm sure he will tell you. Tennessee ran the 1-3-1 last year better than this year's team runs their zone. I bet if you go back and compare stats, it will show that (what little you can find of it). Trouble is Martin didn't believe in it or he might have been the coach of the NCAA Championship team. All the teams had to do was practice against the man when they played Tennessee. The SEC coaches had their game plans way before the games ever began. And guess what, we lost. Brandon Lopez was 100% gonna be the starting Pg. Coach T will tell you that, too. He said as much. If you think likes are insignificant, what they show is who makes insignificant posts, like it or lump it. Pounds per inch. Big guys in the SEC have more pounds per inch, pretty simple concept that no one pointed out.I hope this new NIT kick you are on isn't the usual attention seeking bs you go after. 1-3-1, Rick Byrd, Brandon Lopez, like per post, pounds per inch, etc and now this. When does it ever end SD? Lol
Dallas, why do you continue to back down when challenged? Stand your ground. You'll never be successful on the basketball court or in life if you do that? These guys are no better than you are. I still can't believe they have fun hassling a kid younger than our basketball team that is still in high school.I only do it to make y'all know im kidding .....LOL![]()

Not sure you understood that post.Well I may be mindless but at least I can do simple math.
Actually its 80% in CaVols poll. Oh, by the way, my attention to detail is way too good to not notice that even though I have asked you directly more than once what is your answer, you have avoided doing just that in public. Instead, you said take a poll. OK I'm asking again just as CaVol asked, would you rather see this basketball team one and done in the NCAA or cut down the nets in Madison Square Garden (NIT champions). If you are afraid to answer you must be on my side of the argument. Not sure you understood that post.
In a Sunday discussion SD was calling all of us who chose an NCAA appearance over an NIT trophy mindless thinkers.
I told him to make a poll.
I thought more than 93% (at the time I posted) would have chosen the NCAA.
That would make the 93% who chose the NCAA mindless thinkers in SD's book. Fools was my rendition.

Lord SD. I answered you at the very beginning of the discussion and you called me a mindless thinker.Actually its 80% in CaVols poll.
