With all the crap Curried has done in the past few days, why can we not interview Les Miles ? If he is not the one then go for Kiffin. I mean we can win with either of these guys. You need to recruit Georgia hard. Either of these guys knows the SEC. Just make Les bring in a good OC. You know Kiffin will bring in good coaches, and recruiters.

At least this guy wants the job. Bring in orange blood for all that is holly. 5th generation Vol fan and i might very well stop going to the games. I have to explain this stuff to my grandfather and to see his face after explaining it kills me.

Miles record at LSU 114-34. He recruited well averaging a composite top 10 class over his tenure based on 6 recruiting ranking services such as espn, rivals, 247 ect. He had over 70 players drafted...

I guess what Im saying is it may be at least worth a interview. Even if he stayed 2-3 years and began the process of rebuilding. At this point having a record of success matters imo.

Les Miles is interested in the job. He's BEEN interested! Even contacted some Boosters 2 days ago to gauge interest. Yet......Currie hasn't reached out to him. Smh. This is worse than the last 2 searches. Currie leaking out interest in Jeff Brohm (6-6 record this yr) and Dave Doeren, and even possibly Chad Morris. This is insane. Les Miles and Mike Leach BOTH expressed interest behind the scenes and BOTH let it be known that they would accept the job if the terms were acceptable. And Currie ignores both, and makes us a laughingstock again in the media like "nobody wants that horrible UT job", when 2 very solid, veteran, winning coaches with very good reputations and resumes already stated they were interested. Currie needs to be fired for not doing right by us loyal Volnation fans. This is embarrassing. Call Les, call Leach....get this thing done with a respectable name, and get OUR program's name and reputation out of the news for the wrong reasons. We are the UT Vols. The dang "POWER T"! He needs to take some of the stash of cash and make this right with the quickness. It took MissSt 2 days. We fired Butch early to get a jump on the search, and we are worse off now than before we fired Butch! Crazy. Sad times to be a Vols fan.

If we havenĀ’t talked with Miles at this point out AD is insaine. I get it in the beginning. But the landscape has changed since the Schiano incident.

From what I've read Les would Probally take the job. It just makes since as of now.

Basically what I said two months ago... or similar.

I said Frost (or young OC) as head coach, Les Miles associate head coach/head recruiter and Pelini defensive coordinator.

The plan would be to get Les out of there in 2-3 years.

Miles would not be bad I general. But I would question his desire to recruit and make the program a top program again.

Dave Clawson is a winner. His offensive scheme was too advanced for the personnel, at the time.

Check out what he's done at other programs, esp Wake Forest.
IMO, he would be a solid hire
