Mark Mangino wasn't bad.
They also ran him out of Lawrence for mistreatment of player. I always wondered what the real story was. If it was a hit job, or he was really abusive, I never understood the situation.

EDIT-- I read a story he was also abusive toward campus police over parking tickets, so maybe he was a bit more over the top than I realized.

I’m not really big on futures of “until we can get something better.” I keep hearing correlations to Rick Barnes. I originally thought that about him, but he’s a long term solution.

Yeah...so why’d Ainge’s name pop up in the discussion?

Because “Les didn’t choke away the 2007 SEC Championship Game.”

Many believe that was because of plays Ainge made/didn’t make. I’m one of them.

I sense you disagree, but might there be another reason you’re tail-dragging my arse on this board on Christmas Day?

Our former QB didn’t make enough plays and threw a horrible interception in a SEC Championship Game...well aware. That next jump to Erik Ainge in a thread about Les Miles is where errything gets murky. Sorry that confusion “tail-dragged” your “arse” on Jesus Birthday.
