I think Miles has learned from his mistakes whether or not he sticks to it who knows but Tennessee could do a lot worse.
I wonder how invested someone like Miles would be starting at a new program at 63yo. Not a knock on his age, but the guy won a NC and had an overall good run at LSU which has got to be a top 5 place to work at. How much longer are you going to want to work year round around the clock and at what point would you rather just fish and spend time with your family? These are all rhetorical questions. Same with Rick Barnes.
I think the program is exactly where Butch wants it. According to him we are all ungrateful for not worshiping 8 win seasons.I don't think it'd take him long to get this program where he wants it, there is a good base talent here and to think he wouldn't bring in talent quickly is foolish.
I think he'd own the east until he decided to retire, and at that point he could be grooming his replacement
Les's greatest gift is being stubborn, his greatest weakness is he is stubborn. (its a two edge sword) You don't hire Les in the hopes that he will change, he won't. You can hire him because he is a great players coach, a good recruiter, and great at timing trick plays. You hire expecting some type of change.... good luck.
Yea, Butch is eager to go to purdue--the doormat of the Big 10. And Les Miles is a has-been. Get real. You guys who think we'll start winning the SEC with Les Miles--or anybody else--are dreaming. Your panties are in a knot because the Vols didn't meet expectations. Deal with it.
Would Chavis jump back to Tennessee with Sumlin being on the hot seat at A&M?
It's daggum happening.... (It's a rumor that I pieced together).
Would this not have a Rick Barnes feel to it?
Who would or could come with him?
