Legitimate HC options

I don't know why chip Kelly name keep coming up..we will score points but where the defense going to come from..we will still give up points..i like a defensive minded coach..give me Charlie Strong

man give me a hungry Charlie Strong all day!!!he didn't fit in the big 12..he is more of a sec or acc style of football coach..he defenses are not built that those offenses out there in the big 12..give me Charlie strong and we will have a championship defense..we need an identity and this team do not have one..

And he can recruit the hell out of Florida.

What is it wanting Dan Mullen. He has a 60-42 record. Thats worse than Butch. Hes only won more than 8 games twice since 2009. I mean im as disappointed as anyone but the grass isnt always greener on the other side no matter how you want to spin it. Nick Saban has a bad récord after 4 years at Michigan state. I know needs to be changes but im just not sure head coach is it. Everybody on this board wanted Charlie Strong and look what he did at Texas,FIRED. Everybody wants everyone else coach because they think hes better then 5 yrs down the road you figure out that they were all wrong. Look guys we are all disappointed but it could be worse.

60-42 at MSU, with their facilities, budget, Starkville, etc., is like 80-22 at a UT, UF, UGA, etc. He is a significant upgrade from CBJ IMO.

Was kind of hoping Bill O'Brien wouldn't do well at Houston and would consider a jump back to college. I feel like he did a great job at Penn State with the circumstances. He obviously hasn't done great in Houston, but no where near bad enough to consider leaving.

It's daggum happening.... (It's a rumor that I pieced together).

Would this not have a Rick Barnes feel to it?

Who would or could come with him?

Butch stays 1 more year, collects $11.5 million. Butch leaves now, pays $2 million. Hmmm, what will he do?

He'll be sh*ting a ton of bricks. He's done pissed away the East and the Sugar Bowl this season.

I wonder how invested someone like Miles would be starting at a new program at 63yo. Not a knock on his age, but the guy won a NC and had an overall good run at LSU which has got to be a top 5 place to work at. How much longer are you going to want to work year round around the clock and at what point would you rather just fish and spend time with your family? These are all rhetorical questions. Same with Rick Barnes.

I think Miles has learned from his mistakes whether or not he sticks to it who knows but Tennessee could do a lot worse.
