Dan Mullen would be my number 1. With JG coming up he's going to need a coach that can get him on a championship level. He got msu a number 1 ranking and we all know that msu doesn't get near the good players that ole miss or bama does. He's reached the limit at msu. No way to win an sec or championship there. I think he would be very interested . just think what Dan could do with JG .

I'm afraid if ut doesn't make a move soon the program will drop off drastically. A quick fire and hire. This is butch's ky loss (dooley). If he gets another year things will be very different. Without sellouts and fan/booster/media support, he will do worse. He's lucky Jennings is here.

Mullen has coached in the sec. He knows what it takes and the pressure that comes with it. He would be a great fit with the talent that's on the roster.

Really 1-4 is a joke. Should have hired Petrino after Fulmer. Kiffin has proven he is not a head coach. Briles has too much baggage right now. Dan Mullens was beaten by Kentucky this year. We should have learned from Dooley beating Butch on that one. Durkin or McIntyre has the most interest.

The order of this list is downright frightening. I'd flip it at a minimum and most certainly take a couple names off

Dooley has really turned that Dallas receiving core around and made Dak Prescot look really good.

after everything we've been thru recently, briles isnt even in the realm of possibility.

the rest of the list is pretty uninspiring.

Venables at Clemson. Sure, his defense has taken some hits this year, but for the most part he knows Defense. He's been an assistant under Bill Snyder at KSU, Stoops at OU and Sweeny at Clemson. Former player and has the fire to do well.

Won't be a popular opinion, but I would like to see Scott Satterfield from Appy State.

He's proven he can win and makes the most out of his players regardless of their star ranking.

I would be open to that idea. Seems like a really good coach. Recruiting ability, as with any mid-major HC, would be a concern.

Just give him a huge buyout and problem solved. Not saying he's my pick, but I'd rather win than hold a grudge.
