Generally when people dont know what they are talking about they go with a safe answer that is most likely to turn out correct.

Sonny Dykes is not a safe answer. That's weirdly specific for a guy with no other reason to be named a target by Tennessee or its fans ever.

Did Chris say Dykes is on Danny White's list? Or did he just say Dykes is an intriguing possibility?

he said neither. His answer was very vague and vanilla. "Watch out for Sonny Dykes as a possibility" That's all. He didnt say "I heard Tennessee reached out to Dykes" he didnt say "I believe Dykes to be a perfect fit for Knoxville so I'm including his name" nothing meaningful. Just "watch for his name"
