Figure of speech. IIRC Lebron's max possible salary this next season will be in the high 17mil's, and you can rest assured he'll be getting every penny of it.He does have that kind of money but there is a salary cap, they couldn't pay him that much money.
How about coming stronger with some drivel about how the Nicks are going to return to prominence with "Well, the Celtics did it!" as your basis? You should probably not post on a NBA thread due to your colossal amount of ignorance.

I'd like to see a John Wall, Lebron, and Bosh team.

I would love to see him stay in Cleveland he's an ohio boy. I heard some guy this am talking about this, to make a coach change, and bring somebody else aboard. They mentioned Phil Jackson coming to town, i dont see that happening. If he ends up in New York, you think he will make more than anyone has ever made in the NBA?
A scary rumor is Lebron leveraging for Calipari to replace D'Antoni. Phil is not coming back as long as any Dolan owns the team. If we can take Dolan at his word and Walsh has complete control, Calipari will not be there and he can call Lebron's bluff.
The Knicks have been drafting and signing complimentary players to Lebron the last two years. Signing him and Bosh is not only possible, its likely. The only casualty may be not being able to sign Lee and he possibly signs with Heat to satisfy D Wade.
Regardless, its going to be a fun summer.

If the Knicks were smart they would go after James or Wade and try and retain Lee, he isn't as good as Bosh but he puts up pretty similar numbers and plays better defense, plus you could get him for less than a max which is what Bosh will go for.
There is not a snowballs chance in hell that Wade will sign with the Knicks. If the Knicks were smart they would go after James or Wade and try and retain Lee, he isn't as good as Bosh but he puts up pretty similar numbers and plays better defense, plus you could get him for less than a max which is what Bosh will go for.

Look at the trends. Salary cap be damned, the large markets are still the typical power players in the NBA. The Nicks are, but the fact is your team's front office has been in disarray for years now and even if they did get LBJ, I seriously doubt it will be any more successful than what Cleveland has had the last few years.
As Hat said, with Prokhorov coming in the league and the Nets pending move to Brooklyn, the Nicks are about to take a permanent backseat in the NY market to the Nets. That is until the entire organization gets new faces from the top down.
