Remember Nebraska repeatedly got hosed in the Big 12 by Texas and eventually told them to efff off and they joined the Big Ten. Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC will only make it worse for us

I am not sure we could make the playoff in the ACC but I guarantee you we wouldn't be having 11-12 game losing streaks to the same annual opponents every year. In the scheme of things, that is what is making being a Vols fan brutal.

We beat Florida one-time in 17 years. That just isn't fun or entertaining for a fan.

We don't even compete with Alabama and make it a game.

Are you sure about it? I was hanging out with some Oklahoma State fans and they got left out in 2011 so Alabama could get a rematch against LSU. This is despite the fact that Oklahoma State had a Conference Championship and Alabama did NOT.

That idea crossed my mind this morning. We just go independent, schedule only two hard games a year, and wallah we're a playoff contender every year a la Norte Dame.
