Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

That he needs more ventilators and some being found in storage for starters. Blaming the federal government for NY shortages of respirators and finding out when he had a chance to purchase them he said no thanks. AC is in his 3rd term as governor. Anything that is in short supply falls squarely on the state.
Does this criticism reach Trump and the Feds? He's in his third year.

If only Pete were POTUS , we could have cut all that pork out and then instead of Brrrrrrrrr the printers would be going ... Weeeeeeeeeeeee - you get a wine cave and you get a wine cave and yes even you .. get a wine cave .
Can't spread the virus if everyone is holed up in wine cave. See, Pete knew what was up.

Dr Birx... Yes, she is the one who stands behind Trump and nods. But yes, I'm sure you believe she should be in charge of telling what hospitals should consider in a bad situation, because her opinion aligns closer to the "It's all overblown" narrative.

You could but refuse to listen to the medical professionals and choose to listen to a 3rd term governor who is responsible for the shortages. The federal government has been instrumental in helping open 3 or more temporary hospitals and on Monday will have a Naval ship to help with overcrowded hospitals. But go back to listening to Rachel Madcow and Mika

donald is a racist, the travel ban had nothing to do with that. The country is not shut down, people are still exercising their liberty. The first case of covid19 in the US was 1/21/2020. A national emergency was declared 3/13/2020. On the other hand, the first case in Italy was on 1/31/2020. A national emergency was declared 1/31/2020. See the difference. The World Health Organization test were not coming from China, those test were being produced by the World Health Organization in Geneva. So he drug his feet and dismissed the warnings. Insisted the the test be produced here, that were flawed. They gave false positives and false negatives. So you continue to carry his water. He's inept and a sociopath. Lacks zero empathy.

The head of the WHO is a Chinese puppet and he's come in to question especially here recently. I'm not carrying his water I state some simple facts and asked what you would have done differently. When was a national emergency declared during H1N1 again?

You have a quote for that? Mario is using every avenue to acquire ventilators here and abroad. If anything he's made Trump worry that he hasn't done enough, and he invoked the DMA yesterday.

I say Go Mario!

oh, and do you have that quote?
Was Mario trying to acquire ventilators two months ago? Has he not been publicly calling out Trump for the shortage? He's playing political games as much as Trump and everyone else. No one wants to take the blame. But hey, why accept the truth when you can blame Trump, right? Put aside the politics and accept screw ups have been made at every level.

I’m not sure I’d say psychos - it’s a negative headline but also not irrelevant given the discussions being had. Saying we might not have enough ventilators down the road is the same as saying we might have to reconsider who we resuscitate. Birx also seems to be absolutely correct that we aren’t doing that today. CNN is also isn’t incorrect, it’s something we might have to do. Is it an overly negative headline? Maybe. Perhaps it would be better just to say hospitals are discussing plans if ventilators run short.
It's how CNN drives mass hysteria, just like Foxnews and just like MSNBC. Everything is an extreme

I have to wonder if this strangles the global warming scam. Is this such a defining moment that money and public opinion starts flowing towards CDC, medical science organizations and groups.

It reaches everyone. But thus far, all the criticism I've seen has been directed at Trump. Seems more political rather than actually addressing the screw ups.

Are you changing the subject? but I thought you were the one who said Mario was playing politics... So, OK you are criticizing yourself. cool

anyway... I do need to get outside. fuss with ya later!

Let me re-write it:

“Trump advises leader of coronavirus task force to not call states whose Governors are mean to him”
You still stuck on this? And the next morning?

Have you commented on this drug cocktail that seems to be working the Democratic governors are banning??

Trump deserves some blame, but not all of the blame. You want to place all of the blame on him. That would be inaccurate. The fact Mario isn't willing to hold himself accountable, that he's more intent on making it look like the federal government's(specifically Trump's) fault, that's playing politics.

Meh, Red Hats are doing the same thing. Shifting blame to Obama, governors, etc. Red Hats are socialists now, you have to watch them. Shifty folks.
