Between 1,250,000 and 1,525,000 goes to the team. The rest is split 15-ways (among the 14 conference teams plus the SEC front offfices).

Not to anger or dispute any of the fine people on VN, but there are a couple of overlooked/forgotten points here. (1) The Vols haven't been to a bowl game since 2016, and (2) at the end of September the only bowls being discussed by most UT fans were cereal and toilet.
I'm thankful Tennessee is going to a bowl and honestly don't care which one or who they're playing. I'm happy (not satisfied) the Vols ended up 3rd in the SEC East. Win the bowl (no matter the opposition or where it is) and continue building for a return to prominence in the SEC. GBO!!

It is HIGHlarios, to see posters on here who said we were a steamy pile and yelling “fire Pruitt” are now upset with the BOWL GAME we’re going to.

Despite objections from many on VolNation, Nashville will be drowning in orange should the Vols get a Music City Bowl invite. Tennessee was disappointed to make the Music City Bowl in 2016 given how lofty expectations were at the start of the season and still managed to show up in droves, so I would expect a large portion of rational Vols to be elated with a trip to Nashville and a solid chance at notching an 8th win considering how this season started.

Is anyone else underwhelmed with these matchups? I know we are a middle-tier SEC team, but these all look blah to me.

I agree with the BLAH, but I was absolutely puking early in the season. I guess a BLAH is better than WRETCHING. My wife wants to go to a bowl wherever it is, but with this lineup I had rather stay at home. Of course, she always wins so see you there.

Agree with everything except GA State. We rebounded with 7 out of 10 wins. The only thing Ga State and BYU games represented is rock bottom for the program. We are beyond that now.
