Everyone does realize we didn’t beat anyone of note this year right? We will have won games against two bowl eligible teams.
"What was left" had a perfectly good job at a winning program. Fulmer went looking for him, not vice-versa.Yeah, after everyone except Leach turned us down and yet Fulmer didn't feel around the bottom of the apple barrel because there were so many apples hanging on the tree! He got what was left and what was left had us in a losing record his first year and losses against Georgia State and BYU in his second. Not only that but, has not beat anyone of significance this year but have delivered us moral victories, however.
Yeah, Fulmer knew what he was doing, alright. Maybe this works out or maybe it doesn't. Either way he is attached to Pruitt.

That doesn't tell the whole story. Mizzou and ms state could go bowling. USCe could have gone bowling and they beat uga shortly before we derailed their season. And all 5 teams that beat us are bowling.Everyone does realize we didn’t beat anyone of note this year right? We will have won games against two bowl eligible teams.
Doesn’t change the fact that the best team we beat, however you want to judge it, will won six games. That’s nothing to celebrate. That doesn't tell the whole story. How many 2nd year coaches don't lose their team with a start like UT had?
Different feeling. Not much finesse with this team and no gimmicks. No sayings and no BS.I'm ecstatic that Pruitt has turned this year around and the team has improved but let's pump the brakes since this is just his 2nd year.
Remember we were all aboard the Butch train ending 2015 and entering 2016.

True and I'm not ready to annount him the savior.
However we are beginning to beat the teams we should. Hopefully Ga State and BYU were the last we will see if that type of play.
If we beat Vandy and win a bowl game i think we can expect big things next year.
I bet you’re a blast at partiesYeah, after everyone except Leach turned us down and yet Fulmer didn't feel around the bottom of the apple barrel because there were so many apples hanging on the tree! 9 regular season wins next year or its a let downI for Incomplete.
Pruitt needs to have a better year next year than this year, 8 regular season wins should be the floor expectation next season. The East has one good team and one okay team. We get Arkansas from the West. Should be 3-1 ooc, 5-3 at worst in the SEC. Though it would be nice to beat one of Florida/Georgia/Alabama. This year was such a great opportunity, the schedule was the easiest we've seen in a long long long time. 8 regular season should have been the floor this year.

So seeing progress and making a bowl getting 15 extra practices isn’t something to celebrate. We may not be where we want to be but we are certainly better than we were last year. we could’ve won more but the turn around has been impressive.Doesn’t change the fact that the best team we beat, however you want to judge it, will won six games. Pruitt is a real coach! Lord, how long has it been? Oh wait...2008 with Fulmer.I have always felt Fulmer made a very good hire with Pruitt. Time will still tell the entire story but I like where we are headed at the moment. GBO!!!!!
I think end of the yr wins and carryover to the following season is overrated. What can make next yr a big year is if recruiting picks up. Personnel wise we're yet not on the level of FL, Ga and AL. But if we do no more than tread water we'll be no worse than 8-4 next yr
