Cast all the stones you want, I don't take kindly when people do things that reflect poorly on the university, especially when those things can be prevented by simply keeping your mouth shut. Hamilton needs to put a muzzle on BP until the NCAA rules. The fact that BP was even in a position to make such a statement is just another indication of Mike Hamilton's ability to administer the athletic department.

So the fact that Bruce Pearl was speaking at the Knoxville QB club and told them a joke off the record is an indication of Mike Hamilton's abilities? I swear some of you need to read over what you say before you post.
Yes, it is! Given the events of the past few months, if I were MH I would make damn sure I knew what BP was going to talk about before he opens his big, arrogant, self-involved mouth. The joke is the fact that anyone would think that anything is "off the record" anymore. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that anything that comes out of BP's mouth right now is going to be fodder for the national media -- I don't get paid millions of dollars a year like these guys, but somehow I know that. Nothing about what BP said is helpful to UT, nothing. So why say it? If you were MH, would you give BP a chance to do it again? And if so, why? What does it accomplish or help?
