Well if you look around here we are not happy about it either, i am one for sure that is not happy about it.

The guy can coach he done a great job here, if he does leave, think about it, saban would not hire a guy three times unless he could coach and recuit.

This is a big loss to us, no matter how you look at it.

I hope we can offer him something to stay and anoter poster stated that he thought dooley and lance were not on the same page, this just goes to show maybe the other coaches were not either, it looks bad on us all of them leaving and there is even rumor of another coach leaving us.

I am sure coach will hire someone but this hurts.

Maybe it will work out for the good in the long run.

I wish the season was here now all this circus with the coaches is not nelping this old timer.

THEY WILL BE NEW BLOOD ON THE SIDELINES, HERE HOPING THAT THE NEW COACHES HAVE ORANGE IN THEM! GO VOLS!

I HOPE HE SEE THE LIGHT AND STAYS!

If he's leaving, I say good riddance. If he doesn't want to be here, I don't want him. We just got two big recruiters. And if it's bc his feelings are hurt, he needs to quit being a little b... It's business, do work, don't cry when the other guy gets the job. Obviously the boss didn't see it in you. Sorry, have fun in Bama.

I have complete faith DD will make another stellar higher. Although I liked CLT I think most will look back and be glad this happened. CLT is a good coach but clearly didn't recruit as well here as he did while at bammer pulling all those kids out of S AL.

Again, like I mentioned in the recruiting forum, it makes no sense to act like the sky is falling without even knowing who his replacement is

I didn't mean to imply that he and Dooley didn't get along-- I just meant that Dooley went around LT in the DC search, knowing that going outside instead of promoting from within, tends to ruffle feathers. If Dooley had been concerned about keeping LT, he would have handled it differently, that's all. Not sure if Dooley isn't very politic or if he doesn't care about playing nice, but he tends to be surrounded by a lot of POd people.

Thanks for the compliment..I'm not as informative as others are because I am a person of few words most of the time..I joined VN a while back but just recently started posting because I love to follow recruiting and read what other more knowledgable people have to say..Another reason I follow it so much is because my hubby doesn't keep up with it mainly because he doesn't have the time that I do..So I just pass along any new info on coaches or committs or whatever the case may be. :)
