I doubt anyone is picking Tennessee because we have a program called VFL. Most players mention it after becoming a Vol but it has no bearing on them choosing Tennessee.

Misspelling is not a grammar error. BTW, you should have a period after "them" instead of a comma. That is a grammar error on your part. Just saying.

Bad news always follows the good. But who knows? Dooley may already know who he wants and it could be for the best. Lance has kids in Alabama. Some people are pointing to that being a big deal. He had some family issues when he got here. I know he said it's business , but his work has alot to do with them. He can be closer. I'm sure he wasn't always happy and I'm sure the same goes for Dooley. He did a good job helping us before Dooley got hired. That's one thing to look at. Dooley didn't hire him. It's taken 2 years and it seems he is making his hires now. I don't think he really had much time to get the people he wanted due to the circumstances. The Tennesse fans miss him , but we will get over it. If you want to see what Alabama thinks of it , go to their boards. They are mad as hell. I'm surprised he is going back. I was pretty sure Nick and Lance were not on good terms.

Hate to see him go. Per Knox news sentinel , he's our best recruiter..... Just when I thought things were calming down.

Can't really say that I blame him. I'm sure he was disappointed he wasn't given a shot at DC(if he wasn't considered). More $$$ to boot. I wouldn't say he's our best recruiter. Dooley will bring in somebody that will fill the void. Maybe even Steele. That would be an upgrade as far as recruiting.

We'll be alright. If Steele is the replacement we'll be upgrading our coaching and recruiting again. People may be concerned about coaches leaving but Dooley has made an upgrade with every single hire thus far.

lol at all the posters saying this was a bs rumor and bashing anyone that spread them. another classic case of morons posting on here not knowing what they are talking about. hopefully the addition of a linebacker coach as our dc will make up for over half of the coaches leaving, sad that the defense was the only bright spot last season and all those guys got replaced. any guess what this will do to recruiting and signing day?

Good luck, CLT. We enjoyed having you on the Hill for 3 years. Thanks for going out being classy, and speaking highly of our program and head coach. FYI, in another thread, Skeeter mentioned to keep an eye out for the names Nix, Steele, and Hobby. Any one or a combination of those would be great hires.

Yes we lost a Valuble recruiter, but I am positive we will be fine. Let's stay optumistic and see what happens. Go big orange!!!
