Mike Dubberly, local Birmingham Fox Media, said that he just got off the phone with Lance Thompson and said that he would not confirm or deny going to UA.

After "Gay Travis" tweeted him and asked him if it was a "coaching trade", Dubberly replied that I'm 99% sure that's what he was saying.
