You can get away with that somewhat if you can actually place your ball on the black and the corners. Ivy Renfroe didn't have much movement when she came to UT and she was still effective.

At this point, we're basically conceding every SEC game that Ashley can't pitch (i.e. every game 2), even against the bottom teams in the SEC.

The days of 1 pitcher carrying a team probably ended with Paige Parker at Oklahoma her junior year. Either the Weeklys are going to have to really recruit hard for solid pitching, coach up the current staff or both.

True but Ivy threw about 10 mph more than Bailey.

Turner when she is right can get better teams out. None of our other pitchers have that in them at this point.
