Business as usual for Regionals, Super Regionals.

If that's the case, then what are schools submitting bids to the NCAA to host next week?

I know there are some coaches that are VERY opposed to the idea and are making that known, but I'd be surprised if the NCAA goes back on it after all the work they've asked schools interested in hosting to do lining up hotel rooms, catering, etc. I've been surprised before, but they are pretty far down the road with this.

I think we'll hear something in the next week or so, bids are due early next week. Tennessee as a department will always bid for anything they can.

What schools?

What schools?

Most of the top 25, everyone thinks that they have a chance. Hotels are already exchanging contracts with the NCAA travel provider, they are putting together catering agreements. Like I said, I’m sure it’s possible that they go back on all of this, but it is very far down the line.

A company my firm represents in some land acquisition deals owns and operates hotels in several SEC markets and they have already signed contracts with the NCAA’s travel partner as part of bids put together by schools.

It would work like women’s basketball used to when they briefly had predetermined sites, if a team is selected as a host but is not a top 16 seed, they would still play in their home facility, just as a two or three seed.

Their freshman (Didn't get her name) just crushed a line drive HR in the first. Down 0-2
