Her and Ralph cost us the NC against Arizona by refusing to pitch anyone else besides Monica in game 2 of the NC series against Arizona. Game 1, Arizona couldn't touch a rested Monica. So rest her game two and if we win, awesome, if we lose, Monica is rested for game 3 and Arizona can't touch her again. But no, let's throw a Power Pitcher again so she is tired and then we lose and guess who b is even more tired in game 3 ...a power pitcher. We lost to a finesse pitcher throwing junk and change ups. We also lost bc Arizona was able to hit Monica. Ever since that series, I knew they would never bring us a NC. So guess what, History repeats itself this year with Karlyn being a power pitcher and tiring out. Also, how many times does Karen have to pitch to the opposing HR hitter with the game on the line before she gets that its a bad idea? Apparently, more than two times.

Monica didn't lose us the series. We were shut out in the final two games. We lost the second game 1-0 in extras. That's not on Monica.

When I was younger (and I leave near Chattanooga), slow pitch softball was everywhere for both men, women and coed teams. Industrial leagues, church leagues, at the schools - though it was more in the lower grades - point is everyone played slow pitch softball. But it is nowhere to be found and very limited fastpitch outside of the high schools.

Also to note, most girls play in the youth baseball leagues where I live.

Does TN high school not have a slowpitch league? We do in GA. Granted, the GHSA only recently brought it back, but it’s definitely competitive still.

No one is denying you right to demonstrate your wonderful mixture of arrogance and doggedness. Nobody is required to give you a free pass. They HAVE EARNED THAT RIGHT TOO. Maybe we need a poll on your value to the program. That would create some fact sets too.

I also think she should have had Pickens throw the rise ball very little or none at all against the HR hitters she faced in the tournament. I hope she will learn from this, get another couple of stud pitchers, get a better hitting coach, and win a NC in the next few years!

She doesn't need to be fired! But, she does need to improve in a few areas soon or walk away on her own terms soon! They just can't seem to get over the hump for some reason. If she can't get it done soon, I think she should walk away and allow an up and coming young former player have a chance at winning a NC!

Hell you people would have a new coach fired mid-season. The LOM will never be satisfied.

It is not a requirement, but it does have real impact on one’s value add as a fan. Put your money where your mouth is, I think covers it.

She’s definitely LOM. Relax. I have seen her contribute positive takes… occasionally. 😘
