Since santos has allegedly committed to Texas, per Texas boards, I'll take the guy who isn't lying about wanting to be in Knoxville. JMO

I still feel like Santos would have decommitted already if he was going to. He now knows Texas wants him and still hasn't decommitted yet. I think he stays. A 245 pounder running a 4.6 needs to be on this team.

I want any kid willing to sign on the line and give his all for Tennessee. Wavering or not, all I care about is who signs on Wednesday. If any kid decides to go elsewhere, I wish them the best. I'm not gonna dog any kids coming fresh outta high school. I'm a VFL, and I'm ready to invite anyone else who chooses to join the club!

I seriously doubt he runs a 4.6 after seeing some film on him. Looks more like a 4.9 to me, he's a big dude. If he signs, I hope I'm wrong.

As Santos as they "say" swaying towards LiL UT which last week he says he was "ready to get in Knoxville and bust heads."

If you had to pick between the two, who would you rather have McNeil or Santos?

I rather have McNeil, he has been underrated on this board, alot of talk has been about Dalton but by far LaDarrell is more impressive in his HS career his senior year he had 184 tackles and for him and his Mom to drive from Texas to Knoxville and has been solid throughout this whole process unlike Santos. If you want to be a VOL don't sway, I know recruits like to go see school's and enjoy the process but this man is still stayed true with his commitment with us,after his visit OK St, that just won a BCS bowl. And he is by far our best recruit and we need a headhunter in our secondary for our future.

Give me Ladarrell McNeil, I just have a gut feeling Santos is going to switch on us but don't get it twisted we need them both:yes:

I am with you. I will take McNeil over Santos too.

I dont want to call into question your film-watching-abilities but its not up for debate. He ran a laser timed 4.6 just a couple weeks ago at the UA practice. Now if you debate that his speed does not translate into pads and between the sidelines then that is a different argument.

McNeil any day of the week. We have created a legend out of Santos that unfortunately he will never be able to live up to...all the meanwhile...in Covington, LA a young man by the name of Otha Peters is higher ranked, more tested, faster, quicker, meaner, tougher, and not receiving any accolades from the Vol faithful...he will be the pick-up of this class...he is a monster.

McNeil is not overlooked, he is a difference maker.Stud.
Santos is underrated, could be an awesome run stopper in the 3-4.
Hope he stays with us.

All the Santos hype reminds me of Brian Bosworth one level down. Because of his understandable wavering we have turned him into the next Butkis. Our next board meltdown in the making.

They'll shave a tenth or two off if it is a 4.9. Either way with McCullers over the Center and Santos in one of the middle spots behind him, that's a lot of meat to move. 3-4 needs HUGE dudes in the middle and cats on the outside.

I want the one who wants to wear the Orange and leaves it on the field....The one that wants to be here to play football.....both, McNeil or Santos.....makes no difference as long as their heart is in it......

Maybe someone should start ANOTHER thread about Santos. Hell, the 15 or so threads about him evidently aren't enough.
