Lack of discipline starts with Coach Pruitt

We need to develop a QB. After giving it some thought today I'm of the opinion that we cannot truly evaluate where this team is as a whole until we see some competent qb play.

I think there are players on this team that don’t give the effort they are capable of. Those are the ones I am referring to.

Our biggest problem thus far has been our lack of discipline and amount of penalties that are just killing our momentum. And this all starts at the top. How can you hold the team accountable when the coach does not even have the discipline to wear his mask correctly (coach Pruitt has been wearing his gaiter mask around his neck and heading without covering the most important part, the mouth and nose). He has since corrected this. But the point is accountability and discipline starts at the top. Kids will not have discipline if the coaches do not show the same accountability.
Mask nazi... smdh to be such a good sheep.

Have you ever played sports?
Hahaha

Yes i have...and more than onenof those teams were well coached..ie mistakes were minimized. Especially mental mistakes, jumping off sides, blatant late hits, illegal formations etc.

Every team has a goodball or two that struggles in this department. In well coached teams these goodballs don't play.

In year 3 you shouldn't be struggling with disciple.

You also shouldn't still be starting Jg either.

Maybe Pruitt understands the science behind COVID 19 and the lacking effectiveness of cloth / nylon masks. Not everyone is a CNN / MSNBC / Democrat puppet living in constant fear as directed by the lap dog media.

Guys, Guys...settle down. It's all on me. I didn't take Kentucky seriously. I never put on my game day Tennessee shorts last week. I really didn't think it was necessary. I wore my Nike shorts and while they do sport orange stripes, they don't have our "T" and aren't official fanware. I'll try to do better tomorrow.

So it's lack of discipline and not turnovers that are killing the team. Dang, I had it so wrong all this time.

Our biggest problem isn't Pruitt's mask, it's a QB that couldn't start for any other SEC school.

I'm just pointing out the obvious. The personal foul penalty on Deondre Johnson in the Georgia game absolutely devastated the team. This was an obvious lack of discipline. There are many other incidents like this.
With all the complaints about who is playing QB, it doesn't matter who plays at QB, if the team commits all these penalties we will not be a .500 team this year
It will be difficult to finish 5-5 this year. Losing to Bama is a given. That means we must win 3 of 5 vs Auburn, A&M, Ark, Vandy and Florida. Vandy is a win , Fla is a loss, the other 3 will be favored at kickoff . Sad, Sad ,sad,

A team learns discipline and doing things the right way from the coach Pruitt sets a bad example . I thought he was the answer, I was wrong. Not having a decent QB in the third year is pathetic. This team is poorly coached and not very motivated.

^^^ one of the dumbest posts ever

Sorry I just thought it was funny to make fun of the post when half the population is ready to get on with life or death just to live.
When you give up your freedom for security, it doesn't take long before you have neither. There is an old quote similar to this. I'm just not bothering to look it up.
'They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.' Benjamin Franklin

Is a goodball better than a bad ball? Because JG has thrown a LOT of bad balls lately
