Our biggest problem thus far has been our lack of discipline and amount of penalties that are just killing our momentum. And this all starts at the top. How can you hold the team accountable when the coach does not even have the discipline to wear his mask correctly (coach Pruitt has been wearing his gaiter mask around his neck and heading without covering the most important part, the mouth and nose). He has since corrected this. But the point is accountability and discipline starts at the top. Kids will not have discipline if the coaches do not show the same accountability.

So you're saying if he had worn his mask correctly we would be 4-0???? All righteeeee then.

I'm just pointing out the obvious. The personal foul penalty on Deondre Johnson in the Georgia game absolutely devastated the team. This was an obvious lack of discipline. There are many other incidents like this.
With all the complaints about who is playing QB, it doesn't matter who plays at QB, if the team commits all these penalties we will not be a .500 team this year

Our biggest problem has not been the amount of penalties, our biggest problem is we have no quarterback that’s capable of playing in the SEC. We’ve scored one touchdown in the last 6 quarters of play.

I like CJP and I do see some frustrations from this year, and am a little worried about the Ga St, BYU, and UK game outcomes... however... it's not like these coaches are telling the kids to go out and get penalties. To be honest, alot of this is just on the players themselves.

Sorry I just thought it was funny to make fun of the post when half the population is ready to get on with life or death just to live.
When you give up your freedom for security, it doesn't take long before you have neither. There is an old quote similar to this. I'm just not bothering to look it up.

Yep

We would be undefeated if only HB were the starter....

Total BS

A well-coached (read disciplined) team does not continously commit bone headed penalties

We looked fine in the first two games. Then Georgia manhandled us. Maybe the UK game was a letdown game? The team clearly came out very flat and JG was on another planet. I wondered about this last year though in how we started the season. A lot of college football is about motivation. Can Pruitt get his guys up to play on a regular basis?

I'm not by any stretch suggesting lack of discipline is the major flaw in this team, but it has been a weakness. Just bone headed penalties, starting early on and continuing in later games. A team will have some penalties but several have been are inexcusable. And we are clearly not good enough to play dumb.
