Agree...It is what it is....for the rest of the season. I've accepted that some time ago. Changes will be made at the end of they year to fix the D side of the ball.

It's all been said before. Saying it for the 10,000th time isn't going to change anything or make anyone feel better. Just sitting and waiting for a coaching change announcement....hopefully.

No, I am not wrong. It is my opinion with some facts about wins the last few years. Just like it is YOUR opinion that he created it as well!!

Yes, the defense is pathetic but the program where it is at is not all Dooley created.

That said, I am not ready to clean house like most everyone here.

Yeah....You score a point.

So....let's see how HE responds to that at the end of the year. CDD has to make changes in the staff (clearly)...and he has to improve recruiting for the secondary.

If he does these things, I think he turns this around....if not, he is toast.

BTW, your OP didn't say anything about the defense. It mentioned the pathetic program Dooley has created and I responded to that.

I found myself rooting for Troy to win the game just to put and end to Dooley's miserable career at TN. I'm so tired of losing.

It is pathetic. There is no depth behind the upperclassmen in this offense.

I think we've had enough staff changes. The buck stops with CDD. Time to move on. Would be very happy if the new coach considers retaining Graham and Pittman though.

The lack of anger is due to the fact that those who support Dooley are few and far between now. The guys who are constantly on here to argue with Dooley supporters are finding only others who agree with them. And what's the fun in that?

You forgot to mention that it appears that Hart is content with the state of affairs, else he would have said something by now about the coaching situation, i.e., "We'd best see the team win out... else there will be some changes by the end of the season." But, he stays in his ivory tower, twiddling his thumbs, staying mote.

It doesn't matter what I say you are on the side you're on. I am going to give my opinion one more time.

#1 - I think he needs to go. Yes, I held on longer than most before saying this.

#2 - The program has been down for a while. I posted win totals each year since 08 earlier in this thread.

#3 - Attrition killed us

#4 - After Dooley's first class he was still about 20 schollies short.

#5 - I don't believe he is responsible for killing the program but not much has been done to bring it back where we would like to see it. This may have been totally different had Wilcox not left or someone else been hired for the DC spot. The Sunseri hiring is what appears to be the final nail in the coffin. Most of us liked Sunseri before we saw the product but I think Sunseri was the final nail.

#6 - Everything is not Dooley's fault but ultimately he is responsible since he is the head coach. Some things early on were out of his control and has never been reeled in. He will probably pay the price and be gone soon....or shall I say he will be paid and good price to be gone soon.
