I have the game reserved at gamestop and was gonna go pick it up today. I just bought my ps3 while the network was down so it's brand new..you guys think I should hold off on getting the game? Does the condition or how long you've had the ps3 affect whether it will get too hot?

Sony says theres no issue with the firmware or the game. As we all know, they have been very forthcoming in the past.

my xbox has been running louder than usual when playing discs 2 and 3. other than that nothing has really been an issue aside from 1 freezing incident.

Yea i had alot of freezing issues, i just went and exchanged it for a different copy and havent had a problem since.

Disc two is running pretty loud. Played about five hours on it on n off today. No freeze issues. The xbox got a little hot.

I. think if you install all the discs you can play all the way smoothly without switching discs

Nope. I have all three discs installed and you still have to switch sadly, kind of stupid but overall not all that big a deal.

You stack the discs on top of each other and put them all in at once. You just have to remember to put disc 1 on the bottom, then disc 2 and disc 3.

Also, I have noticed on my PS3, which is usually moderately quiet, that I have to turn the volume up after 15 minutes or so because the fans are running so hard.

Sounds like Team Bondi is already planning on releasing desks for Bunko and Burglarly that didn't make it into the game. I'd like some X-Files type cases with paranormal/unexplained crimes/mysteries to solve.

Just finished this games last case. All i can say is wow, it really was worth the $60 which few games are. I wanna see if playing in black and white wioo change the experience.

Beat it a few days ago. Kinda gets old doing same thing over and over. The story is what kept me playing. Will def. change gamin though

It needs to be taken a step further with full body scanning as I felt the bodies looked like crap in comparison to the faces. I'm also sure they could take the faces farther, I thought the eyes could use some work.

This gen is over though, disc size is now an issue.
