Kyle Rittenhouse - The Truth in 11 Minutes

The national debt rose by $7.8 trillion during Trump's time in office. This was an increase of 36%... and the vast majority of this was done BEFORE the pandemic even started.

It bears repeating. Donald Trump is NOT a fiscal conservative compared to anyone. He is more to blame for inflation at the moment than Joe Biden. Although, Biden will make it worse, as @hog88 said.

How about staying on the subject of the thread or STFU!

I lean towards the idea this always had the makings of justified self defense but it was basically made politically imperative that charges were brought just so they could say "Hey, we tried to convict him".

It’s political. Even Binger pretty much admitted to it being a political trial in his cross examination of Drew Hernandez.

EXCLUSIVE: 'Binger was set up for failure!' Kenosha DA knew the case against Kyle Rittenhouse was a losing proposition and passed the buck to Thomas Binger whose presentation has been marked with missteps and clashes with the judge

The choice of prosecutor for Kyle Rittenhouse's murder case could be a precise pointer as to how little confidence the County District Attorney had in securing a conviction.

Mike Graveley, the Kenosha County DA would normally have taken the case himself, but instead handed it down to prosecutor Thomas Binger, whose presentation of the case in Wisconsin has been marked with missteps and clashes with Judge Bruce Schroeder.

'Binger was set up for failure,' one Kenosha legal insider told Dailymail.com. 'Graveley is the superstar and he knew this one was sure to tarnish it.'

According to conservative outlet Milwaukee Right Now, Graveley 'pawned the case off to his unfortunate assistant district attorney, Thomas Binger, who was left to spin gold out of a pile of self-defense straw.'

Now court observers believe that even if Rittenhouse is found guilty, Binger's performance has given him good grounds for appeal.

I would do that, but then I would miss the comedy.

You’ve just got to shake your head at a prosecution for gun charges and the State prosecutor doesn’t actually know gun laws. 🤦‍♀️

Binger just said Kyle should have fired warning shots up into the air.

FYI: You cannot fire warning shots up into the air as that most likely would be considered reckless endangerment.

There are a bunch of lawyers (some in this very forum) that range from ignorant to jaw droppingly clueless regarding almost anything regarding firearms.

That is not true. Trump is not a fiscal conservative compared to anyone.
"Joe Biden and the radical Left Democrats in Congress are trying to ram through a $3.5 trillion, wild, spending binge that costs more than the entire sum the United States has spent on any war in the history of our country," Trump said.

"Not only is this the largest spending bill of all time, it's the largest tax hike of all time. This monstrosity is so dangerous for our country and so bad for children and grandchildren to come. This monstrosity is a bill to end America as we know it. It's so bad," he said.

Does not sound like Trump is a fan of Biden's spending

There's no difference in the people hailing Rittenhouse as a hero than those calling Floyd a hero. They're a just using them as a prop for their own agendas.
Uh, there is a huge difference. Calling Kyle a hero is debatable as he killed 2 huge pieces of crap. Floyd was a criminal high on drugs that died from choking. Nothing heroic about that.

Prosecutor Binger has just spent his whole closing argument essentially telling the jury to believe what he’s saying and not what they’ve heard or seen during this trial. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
Idiots like him and the behavior of the police in a lot of instances are why I don't have a great deal of faith in our judicial system.
ETA: Just imagine if Rittenhouse was a regular Joe without a national GoFundMe account that raised $2 million, you'd be screwed.

I dont consider either to be appropriate and neither of those things should have happened in front of a jury. I don't really know how to put them on a continuum because neither was appropriate.
Is it inappropriate to rape a child?
Is it inappropriate to speed in a school zone?

Can you place these 2 on a continuum and offer an opinion as to which is worse?
