According to Hubbs, it was at one point a legit rumor. Said Kyle just experienced the frustration that a lot of highly-rated freshmen do. Stemmed from his injured shoulder, his lack of playing time and even having lined up inside over the center when he did play in certain passing situations.
Looks like the coaches did a good job of satisfying his concerns and tempering his frustrations. Just because he now says he's "not going anywhere" doesn't mean the rumor at one point didn't have some validity.

This happens at every school and always has.
