James was fantastic defensively, however. He's also our best mid range shooter when he's on.Vescovi played better last night, dont believe James is gonna contribute on offense.Watched Texas game, they are not good!
When Vescovi takes (and makes) his open looks and Knecht plays as efficiently as he did last night - we are almost unbeatable. When Knecht has to up his volume, it's not a great sign.
Both shot 50 percent from 3.
Let's hope it continues tomorrow.
When we got JJJ I was pumped, I really thought he would be a 2-3 year player and then move on to the NBA. He has just not ever become what I thought he could be.Yeah, SV being a willing shooter and knocking down 2-3 3's means a whole lot more than simply the 6-9 points. Any gravity he can create with his shooting means better spacing and less ability to be able to double DK and JA, and will result in open looks all over the place.
If JJJ would just use his athleticism to get into the paint and hit a couple of those 8-10 footers, all the better.

Yes. The problem is that JJJ doesn't know he's a grown man. He needs to initiate contact around the rim. I would love to see him angry once.We can usually afford for one of our guys to be off in the scoring column. Last night it was JJJ.
Great sign for sure seeing SV hit a couple of threes. And Aidoo cleaned up given no physical big on the other side.
