Glad he didn’t, probably a clause in his contract for more money if he’d won, not to mention awards like that cause other programs that are looking for a coach to come snooping around.

That’s rude and kind of hateful bro. I question your goals.

He had a good season for sure. But not coach of the year worthy. I would’ve went with Kiffin or Smart.
Could smart or Kiffin coached this same UT team to 7 wins? It’s one thing to coach 3 of the last 4 top recruiting classes than coaching a team that had 30 transfers in the off season, under investigation and under a first year head coach.

I agree 7 was impressive. But Kiffin just finished second in the SECW in only his second season at Ole MS. The west is loaded. It’s insanely impressive what he’s done there.

If CJH wins 10 games in his second season, he will have my endorsement

If we are being objective, Kiffin probably should have won it. That is one heck of an accomplishment to win 10 games at Ole Miss. I believe it is the first time in their history they have won 10 games in the regular season.

I’d vote :
smart
Kiffin
Pittman
Heupel.
Shouldn’t coach of the year be about doing more with less. Hueple and Smart could have switched teams and UGA would have been 12-0 heading into SEC championship game. We had a lead in every game we played and depth killed us. UGA has had 3 of the last 4 top recruiting classes. Who couldn’t coach that and be successful?

Very heartwarming to see so many Vols jump to an enthusiastic defense of Flobee McSupercuts like this. Touching, really.

Who cares if he makes more money. I’m not one to give out meaningless raises but think JH ranks outside the top 10 in the SEC. Not worried about money long term for JH and not worried about him leaving to go anywhere now that OK is out of the way. Once we are winning, we are a destination job, and the money will be there.
