Here in Knoxville, shooting off a gun in the city is an ordinance violation with the maximum penalty a $50.00 fine. Ya can't get arrested for ordinance violations. In the county, you can blast away all ya want. So, I had a squirrel problem that I concluded with a 12 gauge in Fountain City. Best just to tell the neighbors that you are going to blast a coyote. I don't know about you, but I aint worrying about an ordinance violation when it comes to my kids.

I was referring to his hoa rules. Some of those hoa covenants are no joke. My uncle lives in preston wood in Cary and they don't deal in $50 for anything.

If it comes within 15 feet or so, I'd use a putter. If you want to do it away from the house, I'd try a 56 degree wedge at about 75-80 yards.

I didn't follow through this morning, starting to really question firing a gun in this neighborhood..
I could handle the fine, but don't want my gun confisacted..I've left a message for the property mangement group to see about other options
