Tebow doesnt get credit for leading the defense but he is clearly the energizer of the team. Every game, and I mean every game, he is on the field with the defense either telling them to step it up or high fiving them when they come off the field.

The guy just loves the game and is very emotional. Nothing wrong with that and most of what you hear on Gator forums about Tebow is really fun. We will all miss him when he leaves, he has done alot for the program and it wont be the same without him, but the idea that Tebow gets blackjack... with only one card, and when it rains, Tebow doesnt get wet, the rain gets Tebowed... all of that is fun. lol. But there has been so much of it that even last week, some Troy player tackled Tebow for like a 2 yard gain and he ran to the sidelines and you could tell he was going nuts that he got to tackle Tim Tebow.

It's crazy. We know you hate us and that is cool. To us, its SEC first, then we fight amongst ourselves because the SEC is family really. But you have to admit, like us or hate us, Tebow and the Tebow "legend" is good for the college game.

Tebow has far less of a direct effect on the success of UF's defense, compared to the defensive coordinator and the unquestioned leader of UF's defense Brandon Spikes. This is not open for debate.

Sounds like you want to plaster a Tebow poster in your house with all this unwarranted praise.

I guess you probably think Tebow is the reason why Brandon James is such a good special team player.

I will agree that Spikes and the coordinator have a greater affect. But Tebow still has an effect on the D.

i will admit tebow is a classy character, not one that you have to worry about getting in trouble.

but the media hype gets annoying quickly, and the attitude that UF and Tebow is untouchable, then when certain trolls make stupid arguments that is nonsensical then its fun to berade them

Brantley at QB against your defense is much more favorable than Crompton at QB against UF's defense. UF has 3 solid tailbacks who can carry the mail.

It seems to me that most of the Tebow worship here is coming from Vol fans. Brantley is a much better QB than the UCLA QB that beat you guys at home.

We have 3 solid back that can carry the ball. Plus, in clean-up action when Brantley has been in that are still running the original (call it Tebow's if you desire) and not anything adjusted to him (that will come next year).

It's my opinion, yes, but I think UF still beats UT this weekend if the unthinkable happens to Tebow. Our defense is too good and your offense is not.

Well, there's no question he has talent, and is a more traditional QB than what we've had (we're not complaining, mind you.) But I have to agree its all speculation right now as to how the offense will perform over the course of a whole season with him at the helm.

He will definitely be tested at Bama next season.

That said, if Brantley started he would be the best QB UT has faced up to this point.
