Actually it wasn't...In 1950 They went 11-1 and in 1977 They went 10-1...That's something you know now.

What it means is that you delusional idiots love to talk smack about UT all year and then, after your annual L, UT fans give it right back to you. Nothing more. Then after hate week, it’s back to not caring about UK. You are just another win on the schedule. The 2020 schedule has already been released and the UK game is already going into the W column.

It’s great to beat KY twice in one season! And then when they get schlacked by VT and we’re celebrating a big win in Jacksonville it’ll be a day to remember! It’s great to be a Tennessee Vol!!

Meh. One season (2016) we beat them and managed to find a way to be miserable.

sometimes you just mentally have beaten a team before they hit the field - this is seemingly the situation with KY v UT in football.

unfortunately this reflects negatively upon us in our football series with UF :(

And? we have been miserable for a long time beating UF once but still miserable nonetheless. I am just agreeing with LittleCat that We are to UK as UF is to us. No matter the coach, scheme, stars on the field etc..... we seem to find a way to lose to UF, this includes during the Fulmer years, Spurrier had his number too. Do you disagree with this assessment?

Just looked at the Bowl schedule. No wonder the MCB people are pizzzzed! I wouldn't walk across the street to watch that game. Tickets will be $5 and a free beer inside the stadium. The Belk Bowl vs Va Tech is about as good as Kentucky could have hoped for. They need to stop their b****ing.

Please tell me or show me all these UK fans who talk smack to UT fans??? I have lived my entire life in Central KY, and yes many people hate UT, but no one thinks we are a better school or that we will beat UT. Almost everyone accepts the fact we never beat UT or UF.

Voodoo curse man. I dont get it. I'm mid 20s and multiple times we have been the better team or played better, yet simply couldn't get the ball to bounce our way. Its comical how many times we've been on the wrong side of luck against UT. So many close calls.

UT should hope that Kentucky continues to improve... even should hope Kentucky becomes one of the top teams in the SEC, because no matter how good we get, we will always find a way to give the game away to the Vols. At least if we are really highly ranked it will help you Strength of Schedule and give you an edge in the rankings. OTOH, if UK is just a cellar dweller, you get no credit for beating us.... and on those rare occasions when we win it would just be so depressing for your fan base. So don't try to send us off to the Clemson-only conference. You would miss out on your one guaranteed win every season, but we would be the 2nd best team in the ACC.... at least until FSU makes its resurgence!

I think Virginia Tech might have something to say about that...In the ACC you would be about on Pitt's level.
