UK has taken advantage of a week schedule. Mark it down. They won't win another game this year!
LSU- loss
MS St- loss
UGA- loss
UT- loss
Louisville- loss
Their best shot at a win is against us and that's not going to happen. This will be another UK team that will not go bowling. I'll take our chances over theirs any day of the week.

Everybody has jumped on the Kentucky bandwagon. Why? Because they beat South Carolina. The same team Texas A & M beat badly which caused pundits to jump on their bandwagon. Since, The Aggies have proven to be fools gold and is headed for a four loss season. Missouri got a big bump in the ratings. Why? South Carolina. They are trending down and Matty Mauck is playing terribly. Everybody has used Carolina as a gauge and over rating their opponents.
They could hang tight with LSU who struggled with UF and also they could beat Mizzou. Hell they could beat us. Foolhardy to think otherwise. It's an improved team.UK has taken advantage of a week schedule. Mark it down. They won't win another game this year!

Actually, I think Kentucky has the bandwagoners for the fact that if not for another botched ref call in overtime, they MAY (it wouldn't have completely decided the game) have beaten UF .. IN GAINESVILLE. No small feat for a team that hasn't beaten UF anywhere in the last nearly 30 years. UF is not a great team this year but they still have a defense and the swamp is still an awful place to have to play and UK looked very good in that game.
KY has the edge over TN at OL, DL, QB, DB's and at RB with Hurd hurt. That leaves LB's, WR's, punting, and kicking field goals. Medley has made 9 out of 12 attempts. But you usually don't win in the SEC kicking field goals.
Here is the part of the logic that I don't understand.
UK has had some close games over the past 30 years to UF, and it has never been a huge sign of improvement. Remember, both UK and UT lost to Florida this year (and for most of the past 30 years), and at no point in any season did UK almost beating Florida predict that UK would beat TN.

South Carolina for whatever reason plays down to their opponents and has for years. We most certainly can beat them and Kentucky but must play mistake free with our poor oline play. A decent oline and we are probably looking at a much different year imo.

They usually don't go on to beat USC too though either. Both UF and USC are down but to say UK is not playing "up" I think is selling them short. Maybe I am wrong but when I have watched them they look like the kind of blue collar pedestrian team getting the most of their players that Butch is always talking about. I didn't use the blue reference for pun either.
Did you watch the game? Demarcus Robinson, Matt Jones and refs were all that kept it close. Now, if you're really thinking we should use the close games over a 30 year span to judge this as an anomaly, I would offer this. Look at the last 3 times the two have played in Gainesville. UK has lost by 38, 34 and 58 so no, I don't think this years game was just a "oh, they always play them close" type of thing. In fact, it's been 12 years since the game in Gainesville has even been a single digit margin of victory.
