Keller Chryst Shines...

By the way, I am not against JG at all or pro KC at all. I hope one steps up to be one of the top three QBs in the SEC. I don't care which one it is. But, the fact that JG couldn't out perform Dormady may tell us all we need to know. It will be curious to see how Dormady does this year as well.

Probably won’t be playing much if at all. D’Eriq King is the unquestioned starter at Houston and will be a stud in Kendal Briles offense. Was a curious choice for QD.

I don't care who starts but if KC (brand new to program and historical accuracy issues) can win the job then you wonder if JG doesn't get passed over as time goes on.

Are you saying multiple TDs vs BOTH 1st and 2nd team doesn't mean he threw multiple vs both the 1st and 2nd team? If not, explain what the writer meant. Maybe you know what he is thinking. I tend to take the MEANING FROM THE CONTEXT OF THE WORDS WRITTEN!!! LOL

No. He "most definitely" didn't. QD led the team to 3 wins. If you give credit for the half he played vs So Miss... JG led them to one win. At no point did JG manage the O as well as QD. Both guys had issues. You could argue for either guy but that's a lot like bragging about who the fastest fat kid is. You cannot say "most definitely" because that simply isn't true. QD tanked in one game- UGA. I am pretty sure that he was trying to play through an injured shoulder by then. Take that one game out... and he completed 59% of his passes compared to JG at 62% even before you consider JG's reps against 2nd teamers after games were out of hand or the degree to which they "managed" JG with short passes, single reads, and screens. I just rewatched the UK game. Until the final heave... he didn't have a completion that traveled more than 12 yards down field. He missed several downfield attempts... but they intentionally tried to keep it simple for him. Even the announcers said the coaches told them that they had simplified the O.
So give all benefit of the doubt to dormady, but ignore how jg had to play with way less available due to injury, also since when is only the QB responsible for winning a game? Why does the team have a win loss record if it's all on the qb?

I’m not reading much into this random report. Supposedly Chryst got a lot more first team reps. I don’t even know if that’s true. It’s almost like CJP is rotating these guys each scrimmage instead of just swapping them out each series or every 2 series to see how they act and perform over a long period of time. If I remember correctly they had a lot of 11 on 11 recently that JG got the majority of the reps and everyone swore he would be the qb. I say let it play out and hopefully whoever it is brings many Ws

Does this mean that you are a collegiate quarterback expert who can watch film / gather data and determine a player's value faster than not only the average fan, but most likely faster than our coaching staff? If so, how did you become such an expert with those qualities?
its JG position to lose. too much upside

Bet you were really unlikeable when you were that other poster. 😉 If sjt’s post count got you so discombobulated and spastic, mine has to be grand mal seizure level for you! Always thought of my life as pretty damn good...guess I’ll tell the wife, kids and grandyungin it’s all been a lie.

Nah, it wasn't that I was unlikeable. I stated why. I don't care what you think or say. Your words don't bother me either. It appears as if you have NOT MUCH OF A LIFE OUTSIDE OF VOLNATION either. Maybe you should stop telling yourself how great you are and get some second opinions from those close to you. I am sure they would all like to see you spend more time with them and less time on VOLnation!!! LOL

They tell me they love me but they don’t have YOUR sources. 🤣

P.S Why do you yell so much? Work in a nursing home?

Some of you are legitimately pissed that someone watched practice and thought KC played well. Lol.

Damn. If I find out the rest of the team played well... **** I'm gonna be too heated to even watch this season.

It's good that KC is stepping up and providing competition. Sounds like they both played well. The article definitely didn't say that is was 4 tds to 0. We'll know in the next week and a half who the starter will be. They will have one before the game prep starts.
