How is it obvious? I don't see how anything can be concluded based on what's been said so far. Most of the comments posted here are done through the typical partisan lens which include standard party resentments. The one really disappointing thing, regardless of how this turns out, is that the Supreme Court will now be infected with openly partisan justices whose rulings will be made from what they see as their party affiliations. I can't believe Kavanaugh invoked the 2016 election in his defense. That was a crass display.

Not true at all. We fully expect the FBI to question her and investigate her thoroughly. If it turns out she is lying, lock her up and throw away the key. We're not the ones scared of the truth. Same with the Trump investigation. If Mueller finds Trump free of guilt, I'll accept the findings.

And yet you offer your own partisan opinion.

This man has served with distinction on the second highest court in the land. He has received accolades from his peers on his service.

His only crime is being a Trump nominee and you moonbats are destroying him as a proxy for Trump. Your side invoked the 2016 election in the baseless attack on him. He just called all of you on the BS of it.

That is the first time we have had a nominee in a judiciary hearing invoking the resentment of a political party. It was more in line with what a politician would say; rather than a judge.

It's not a trial, it's a job interview. The conclusion may very well properly be that there is enough reasonable doubt to remove him from consideration.

Lol. Do you seriously believe that SC judges dont have party bias? Come on man. And as far as this Kavanaugh deal, this has been nothing but a sorry, last ditch freak show effort by Democrats to yet again find some relief from their loss. There has been ZERO credible evidence presented that even remotely hints at Kavanaugh is guilty of anything.

The timing of this whol thing is proof of yet another witch hunt by the Ds. I honestly dont understand how you are not in utter embarrassment of your party over this. A 36 year old crime being brought up just weeks before a guy is about to be confirmed as a SC judge? Yeah thats not fishy at all.

A partisan initiative has been underway to run his life. I think a better way to phrase your concern is the Democrats played dirty partisan pool with his life, and now that there's a chance he gets confirmed, you guys are afraid he won't forget it.

There is no evidence that Ford's motivation for her allegations was made through a political agenda. She was not the one discussing politics, he was.
