So Ford gave her a letter with an accusation that she didn't want her to do anything with? And then it mysteriously just gets leaked out from.....Sure, she held the letter at the request of Ford.. someone leaked it and Ford effectively became a pawn. Do you really think it was all a scheme, or just a convenient leak by one or more Senate members, or maybe a staffer.
I'm not buying that it was such a well coordinated conspiracy. Not that it really matters.
What do you consider is the best evidence available that has been discussed to this point?

Of course not. They could have initiated an investigation and questions that could have been asked by the one person that had the letter in closed meetings and she stayed mute.
But carry on.
No way you are serious. Her "I cant remember anything" explanation is compelling? No proof is compelling? No witnesses is compelling? There really isn't compelling evidence other than Fords testimony. The Ramirez thing might have more corroboration, which had more specific information.
Again, none of this would be disqualifying, in my view. The FBI could take statements and effectively shut everyone up, if there is nothing to it.
Or, the people who are questioning them now (who would receive the results of the FBI questioning) could finish questioning and vote. There really isn't compelling evidence other than Fords testimony. The Ramirez thing might have more corroboration, which had more specific information.
