Its so bizarre its embarrassing, if she was drunk she should say so. Details get hazy after 35 years, and if this happen I'm sure some of this would get blurred in the moment. However, if she can't remember how she got home than you have serious issues about credibility because she ran out of the house... that is not something you forget... and since nobody has collaborated there was party.... no wonder nobody has come forward to say they gave her a ride home. She would have had to find a real phone to call home or similar.

I don't know if I believe the Dems paid her. She could very well be telling the truth as of how she remembers it. My problem is that there is a huge amount of doubt with the situation and without others supporting her story, I cant go along with "convicting" someone just on the basis of that.

I don’t have to reasearch it , I’m close to a situation that’s even more traumatic and there’s zero loss of memory . There’s no doubt , no remembering floor plans but forgetting where it happened . Do some people differ of course , some loss of details , of course . I find it odd that the convient details are the ones lost . Just my opinion though .
