I'm not hating on Kav or Clinton. I'm just trying to understand how some decades-old allegations are OK for political brinksmanship and others are not.

Personally, I think that if anyone in the world deserved a mouth hug it's the POTUS.

Yes Republicans delayed, and I disagree with that tactic. However, if the allegations are untrue, Democrats will have not only attempted to block Kavanaugh's nomination, but also dragged Kavanaugh's name through the mud and back.

I have 2 questions for you:

1. Do you believe that the burden of proof is on Kavanaugh to disprove the accusations against him?

2. Do you believe that a father who has lived a righteous, charitable life for 30+ years deserves to have something brought up that he did as a teenager?

Honestly, I'm kind of fascinated by the rationale that it's bad because he was the president and not because he was married.

Oh come on ,... “ he’s bold “ , he’s a glorified ambulance chaser that has shall we say a dubious track record . You and I both know he’s swarmy and anytime he got around you and then left , you’d always have that nagging feeling to put your hand on your billfold .

You really can't distinguish between a presidential debate and stopping the US Senate from doing their job? How long did they hold up the debate?

Because one is illegal, the other is not. Cheating on my wife wouldn't get me removed from my position. Banging the receptionist at my desk would.

As the father of multiple daughters and a son it should scare the crap out of you also that a congressman will go on camera and say that the burden of proof is on the accused . If you don’t think teenagers are vindictive at times , you need more teenagers .

I realize people have been conditioned to dislike this or that person. Do you want to argue that he isn't effective, or that he lacks morality? Now let's apply the same standard to nearly any politician. For whatever reason, some believe Avanatti must be shamed above and beyond any other attorney.

Not missing your point, but I wouldn't think twice about using him, if my needs dictated such.

The setting is irrelevant to the fact that old sexual allegations are being used to derail the wants of partisan foes. I'm not suggesting one is acceptable and one isn't, but for the right to pretend that the left invented this tomfuqery is disingenuous.

No I would ask her for the story , encourage her to give me all the details because that’s what the police will ask her and reassure her that everything will be ok no matter what .
