However angry I am, I think he pulls his nomination this week. Regardless of the veracity of the claims, this has to be hammering his personal life.

Didn't blow by me...

Two things. First, they knew there was no way they were going to be able to delay that confirmation. Second, they used other tactics, notably the Hobby Lobby decision, to attempt to blast him out of the water. People didn't budge.

This time? They are hoping to hold out until November if/when the Senate flips. Plus, teh #metoo movement wasn't quite as publicized even two years ago.

But don't you think it mildly suspicious that after so many years and his Circuit Court nomination that all these allegations just now surface?

It's not up for me to judge when victims decide to make a stand against an alleged predator. One you could say maybe suspicious. Three? Kava-naw. I'm simply amazed that he couldn't provide over 90% of relevant information about his time as White House counsel, yet he has calendars readily available from 40 years ago that show when he didn't try to rape. Now that's some amazing stuff right there.

Gorsuch and Kavanaugh both went to Georgetown Prep. The same generalist smear could have been used there it’s equally applicable. It’s the context. You idiot moonbats can’t stomach Trump appointing two Justices. That’s the only difference in the two.

Big difference in his time as White House counsel when his actions might have classified and having a calendar from his teenage years.

One thing about it, if the DNC keeps this up, they'll never get anyone centrist or moderate nominated by Trump. Garland can kiss any chance he had goodbye since their tactics are being exposed.

Probably true and it's a damn shame. I am so tired of the fascist party. However, I think this is going to blow up in their face, nothing fires up the R base like a good SCOTUS opening. It's time Rs start fighting fire with fire,

I don’t think he can pull his name and go back to the way it was , he has to clear his name one way or another or they will go after him in the 9th also . This is his hill to live or die on .

Or maybe it's that one is worthy to serve in a lifetime appointment to the SCOTUS and one isn't. Naw, that couldn't be it. Speaking of moonbats....How much are you going to cry when he's rejected? I'll bet a lot. ;) Hope he enjoys "retirement."

Maybe. Just about every Trump voter that I know of, and the ones on here, have said one of the key factors in their decision to vote for Trump was Supreme Court nominations that would come up over the next 4 years.

Going after Supreme Court nominations may energize not just the Trump voters, but conservatives, to make sure to cast a vote.

Although I'm sure that the democrats are working on some shenanigans to make sure they win some key votes. It's quite obvious they are desperate. Not that Republicans don't so similar things, but these things tend to run in cycles.

It’s fuuny to listen to people talk about conservatives crying because K could be rejected and totally ignore the fact that he’s the closest to center on that list and everybody else is even better for the right and worse for the left . Losing him or confirming him will not hurt the Rs

I hope you are right, but this has to be wearing on him and his family. Rs usually cave, surprised they already haven't really.
