No it does not have to proven factual. She, or anyone else make a claim, it goes in the file, they leave the determination of factuality up to others. Just like with Anita Hill. White House reviewed the report and said they thought she was not being truthful. Accusation still made the file.

Correct. WH didn't see enough to say we believe you.

Other differences with Hill vs now. Hill told the whole committee but in doing so demanded anonymity AND didn't want Thomas to know he'd even been accused of this. How could the committee question Thomas about it if her statement was on condition he not know he was being accused. Effectively she barred the committee from doing any investigation. The FBI was the only solution to move it forward. Since anonymity was not maintained with Ford and K was made aware he was being accused the committee is freed to conduct their own inquiry into the matter.

Consistent with Hill, Ford should testify to the committee (remember DiFi has not shared the official letter) so they can decide how to proceed.

And it looks like the Rep committee members have hired an outside lawyer to do the questioning because they are all males and are apparently neutered...

Looks like another bluff has been called.

Wonder if it will be Spartacus or Harris that gets to ask about the underwear flag at the fraternity
