Kavanaugh Confirmation

The redacted name to the FBI seals it for me. This was no serious attempt to have an investigation. It was a convenient way to start a story.

The story has been completely controlled by Dems and their staff. They are the sources of information going to the press.

The new low for the confirmation process.

The FBI declined to investigate the material from Feinstein – which she has had since the summer and whose release appeared to have been timed for maximum impact.

Speculation about a sexual-misconduct September surprise ran rampant after Debra Katz, a Washington, D.C. lawyer best known for representing women who make '#MeToo'-style accusations against powerful men, was seen leaving the Capitol.

Multiple reports said she was representing the unnamed woman, who now would likely be 53 years old. Katz has not responded to requests for comment.

The Washington Post reported Thursday evening that the FBI handed the senator's materials over to the White House instead of opening a probe, and considered it an update to his background check file.

'Upon receipt of the information on the night of September 12, we included it as part of Judge Kavanaugh's background file, as per the standard process,' an FBI official told the Post.

Feinstein received her information in a roundabout fashion. The Intercept reported late Wednesday that the alleged incident was described to someone affiliated with Stanford University, who then wrote to Democratic Rep. Ana Eshoo, who represents the area.

Confirms Feinstein is the swine she has always been. Just another Harry Reid. She kind of looks like him to.

I keep saying you haven't seen anything yet. Just wait until Trump nominates Ginsburg's replacement.

Especially if he nominates a woman.

"Did you or did you not play spin the bottle and kiss a boy when you were 13 at summer camp?"
Oh if he gets to replace RBG, he’ll 100% nominate Amy Coney Barrett, and the country will burn.

Title IX is a good example. I posted earlier (I think in this thread) a story where Cory Booker admits to groping a 15 y/o girl (I assume he was a teen at the time). She resisted, he persisted and reached his goal as he tells it. He also tells us the girl said she didn't remember it because she was drunk. Had this happened in college today and the girl filed a complaint - even a year later he would be suspended for at least a semester and possibly expelled. Fortunately DoEd is reviewing some of the Title IX practices that completely ignore due process.
I've read his statements on this. I would never do now what i did in high school. I got over mooning people. Hopefully Corey now understands concent vs rape.
Without due process, it is unconstitutional and yet it stood for how long and ruined how many careers. If you are going to make a statement, file charges with legal authorities. Give the accused the right to face their accusers in a court of law.

That's what it's going to come down to, 7th grade debate. It's be a show, can't wait to see what shenanigans are pulled the next time.

I'm sure they have subfloors.

I'm fairly certain that Ginsburg is already dead. I saw her on tv a couple of days ago.

The Clinton accusers is really, really old news now. Time to move on. I gave you my position. I'm sorry you don't like it. He will probably get confirmed anyway as I don't think there's enough to sway anyone. Murkowski and Collins will wave the red flag.
You mean old news like the possibility a 53 year old man might have touched a girl's titty when he was a 17 year old kid? What a double standard you project mister liberal.

Dems Desperate Smear Attempt on Kavanaugh
Synopsis:
There is no way the Desperate Dems can stop Judge Kavanaugh from being confirmed to a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court which they have agreed to vote upon on Sept. 20th.
So, they are reduced to the typical Democrat sleeze, no-holds-barred, 11th-hour sex allegations that nearly derailed the Clarence Thomas nomination 28 years ago.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein claims to have been sent a letter last summer from a woman who refuses to be identified concerning an incident that occurred in the early 1980s at a party associated with the high school prom.
Feinstein sent a referral for a criminal investigation of the incident to the FBI yesterday, but within hours, the FBI refused because it was not within their jurisdiction, not to mention that it was a clear political stunt. The woman who was the supposed author of the letter has refused to give any interviews to anyone or make herself known in any way.

I had mentioned before that Kavanaugh wouldn't have any legal exposure to the alleged assault, so doing nothing might have been Feinstein's first choice.

Sure, it looks like a smear, but Feinstein may have not wanted to do anything until finding out that the anonymous person was going to go public. That would have made her look like a hypocrite politically, if she had sat on it.

Feinstein, by having the letter added to Kavanaugh's file, gave him the opportunity to address the charge, while giving Feinstein some cover from some eventual backlash.

She’s getting killed by several liberal leaning sites and rightfully so. Just one example:

Dianne Feinstein, What in the Hell Were You Thinking?

In order to keep this private I must make it public?

"There is no indication the woman reported the incident to law enforcement at the time, but she said she has received medical treatment regarding the alleged assault. The woman also declined to come forward publicly after sending the letter to Feinstein. The accuser's name was redacted before Feinstein forwarded it to the FBI."

Hmmm... Let me think... What will flip murkowski and Collins... Yup that's it...an accusation of physical assault against a woman, we don't know her name and she's unwilling to come forward... Bingo!!! Print it, hand it to Diane.

Everyone seems to act like they don’t really know whats going on in Feinsteins head. But it’s really simple, she is on the bubble and isn’t even being supported by her own party in her own state anymore. She’s not left enough for them and this is just an attempt to show them that she’s just their special kinda crazy. She’s just doing what her constituents want her to do in hopes that it saves her ass come November.

You put way too much trust in this witch. It's definitely a timed smear campaign.

If this allegation of rape is true, he should be immediately voted down. However, I'm not seeing enough to show proof, the FBI has passed on it as well, a couple times actually. There are plenty of other reasons to vote against his nomination. Not sure this should factor into it as it stands.
