Kavanaugh Confirmation

I was debt free at 50. Could have retired next year. Then we bought a lot in a neighborhood and built a 4000 sq ft house for a dumb amount of money. So now I’m on track on a 5 year plan to be debt free again... 🤬

Wow. I’ll be 44 this year and I’m shooting for 55.

Taking advantage of that 500k tax exempt on sale of primary residence, i see.

It’s a beautiful property. Something I never thought I would own. Amazing amenities. I have my own two story detached garage for my toys and hiding place.

...

And it’s something we absolutely DIDN’T need!

I was debt free at 43. I guarantee you that there is NO ONE on this board that would live in the house in which I currently reside and have for the last 20 years.

Wish the first property was worth that. This one wouldn’t have been so painful.

We stayed in our “starter house” for 20 years. Upgraded it several times while we were in it. Got decent coin for it when we sold it but it was still a starter home in a 20 year old starter home neighborhood

I'm not sure about you guys but I didn't get to see the testimony of either of them live. I've only seen bits and pieces. I did think Kavanaugh was emotional at times but it's easy to understand when there is a witch hunt for you.

But I'm going to be honest about Ford, I just don't think she was believable from the segments I saw. She pulled a lot of I don't remembers even pertaining to exact date she had the polygraph. Then for a person that was reportedly afraid to fly just over a week ago, she talked about she took a flight immediately after a funeral. Then had the polygraph the same day or was it the next day. She can't even remember the specifics of this event. Besides being calm, she seemed to act just as confused on clips I saw. I think something is wrong with her, I'm just not sure what besides being a liberal professor where many of the disturbed seem to end up.

Mark my words, the Democrats are going to plant a corroborating witness for the FBI to find.
I could see a new “witness” coming forward but not of the actual event. It’ll be of something that could possibly show there’s a chance Kav was there and nowhere near concrete that he was there. This whole thing is about generating doubt because they know they can’t actually prove anything. Inject enough doubt and Flake and a few others will cave.

Even the dim moonbats still don’t like Flake and won’t play with him. Ever after he saved their bacon. Hilarious.

The consensus on the left is clear: Jeff Flake is awful. And that consensus is mostly right. But Flake is very occasionally not completely awful, and we should recognize that on strategic grounds, if nothing else, as politicians and activists on the blue side grapple against the Brett Kavanaugh nomination and the Trump agenda in the shadow of the midterm elections.
