Kavanaugh must testify in an orange jumpsuit?
R committee members can only ask "how was your day"?
Interstates between California and DC must be closed so Ford can make trip "free from threats"?

I’m going with ...I’ll come testify but only DF is allowed to ask me questions and I have to have all questions asked in my hand 30 days before any testimony is given .

I just have this gut felling they are on hold with CNN waiting for Grassley to say we will take the vote next week . So they can start the “Rs wouldn’t work with us tour . “

I love how demanding the accused goes first is considered a "modest request" by Katz.

A whole letter of "you suck, you suck, you suck" ended with we'd like to respectfully ask for an extra day.

She’s losing her victim card here , the longer she drags this out the more people will question the motives . Especially with the Rs trying to accommodate her so publicly .

so I get as a lawyer you are always trying to present things in the best light for your client (eg. the charge: you filed to have a vote on Monday when the reality is he had to put in a placeholder incase Ford decided not to testify or respond) but are you also trained (forgive the term) to get out of that mode when you aren't representing a client? Kinda like the football players don't know how to turn it off when they are off the field.

Does law school have sessions on that balance or is it all about how to be the best at your particular part of the law.

It’s a game of chicken. Grassley needs to say agenda stands as offered. Either testify on Wednesday to our previous appointment offer or we begin on Monday morning closing proceedings. No further need to talk with you guys, just tell us yes or no.
