How so? Kamara is heavier than him by 4 pounds, just as good of a receiver and has shown better athletic measurables so far today. Not trying to argue just curious as to your logic on that.

I just think when I watch them, Cook is more like the guys like Bell, Johnson, Murray, and Zeke and Kamara is more like Sproles.

I am seeing that Cook has Kamara by 20 lbs, btw.

I swear Hurd was blackmailing Butch for touches.

I'm sure he threatened to quit repeatedly if he didn't get featured above all else, to improve his draft stock. How many plays were wasted beating our heads against the wall so he could get his touches?

I don't care to argue the Jalen Hurd situation anymore cause he might never play in the NFL now because of his stupid decisionmaking.

That post was more directed at that bama fan for thinking bama RBs are actually any good in the NFL. Those guys are consistently busts.

I can agree with that, lot of average rbs so far from them. I think yeldon and henry may eventually be really good but lacey and richardson were rough. Ingram has at least been consistent.

4.53????? But but but D4H said he would run a 4.3!!!! The world no longer makes sense to me. I guess the world is flat and Lee Harvey Oswald did do it.

Lacy won rookie of the year. He had a bad season in 2015 because of his weight, but he was back on track last year before getting hurt. Richardson is the only one that's been a complete bust.

Even with Fournette getting the best time of the 3, there is no way he's as quick as Cook and Kamara. Those guys can make cuts and get back to top speed a lot quicker, IMO.

Fournette's got the brute strength that no other back in this draft can touch. Not saying that he'll necessarily be better than the others, but his skill set is different.

I said this months ago. I said he was easily the #1 overall RB in this class and a top 5 player overall. I said he a Marshall Faulk clone.

Alvin Kamara = future HOF talent

Good Lord. You sound like you're pi55ing yourself right now. As I said the other day, throw out a lot of opinions and see if one sticks.

Eddie Lacey has two 1,100+ yard seasons in 4 years, averages 4.5 yards per carry. He's very good, very effective, very talented. His problem is his discipline and eating habits. His n field play has been really good when he's healthy. He doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath with Richardson who is awful.

For sure, but in today's NFL taking size at RB seems to be a gamble.

Kamara's best asset is his stop/start quickness, not his top end speed.

Agreed, but maybe a certain someone can finally step off the Marhsall Faulk 2.0 train...Kamara is not nor ever was comparable to Faulk in regards to speed.

Fournette struggles a little with quickness especially if he has to make a move within the first yard or two, this is one of the reasons I said after last season that Guice is the better all around back for LSU. Now with that said, you get him 5 yards down the field and he places his foot in ground to go North/South... nobody is going to catch him unless they have an angle. He was clocked in-game faster than Donte Jackson (who many think is the fastest player in college or close to it) by LSU... meaning his top end speed. Fournette has world class speed at 240 just not in the first 5 yards or so.

Agree. He's slippery, he's fluid, he's quick and he runs with more strength than he gets credited for. He has more than enough speed, but he's not a top end burner. D4H's proclamation that he'd run a 4.3 is laughable.

They weighed in at 210 and 214 yesterday actually. that may be roster weight youre seeing. But fair points. I just think a sproles role is undervaluing him a great deal.

I agree with Guice being spectacular. Kinda like Chubb following Gurley, almost unfair to have back to back guys of that caliber.

If Kamara weighs 214, then his bench press is pretty sad. That can't be his playing weight, right?
