I think at some point he's probably going to be thrown off the team or he transfers somewhere else.

Not sure about that. FSU has a proven leader in Milton and Miami has N’kosi Perry and D.King. Beyond the personal issues with this kid he’s still a slightly over 6ft qb with mechanical problems. Add the baggage and suddenly that’s a very heavy load.

The baggage and thuggery would be a perfect fit for those two programs. Maybe Salter was auditioning for them with his latest posts/tweets etc.

Just saying he wouldn’t have the easy road to the top spot he more than likely expected to have at UT. Who knows..... maybe now that he’s here he’s seen up close and personal that he under estimated the guys that are here and feels he can’t compete and that’s why he’s lashing out?

Personally I didn’t think he would translate to the SEC like a lot of people think. He’s not that fast, his mechanics are lacking for his size so I considered him a project. Flame away

Here’s to hoping the kid gets his life on the right path. But personally, if it’s here? I’ll turn the TV off the moment he takes the field.

Well if he stays and matures and wins the job I wouldn’t turn off the TV. No matter what I think of him today. I don’t have a personal favorite at Qb, I just hope someone in that position is a quality starter.

I know where you’re going with that but I don’t feel that way about any of the others, including JG. I also want the best for UT believe it or not. If it’s not BM then so be it. He’s good enough to be somewhere. I just think he’s the best thing for UT at the moment IF they can get him to reach his potential

So you would not turn off the TV if Salter wins the job at some point in time while Maurer is here? Just a hypothetical.
