Just watched the video explaining the goal line play

How Guarantano went rogue. That play call would have been an easy touchdown. Now I'm actually in fear for JG's safety out in public. He may need a bodyguard.

Man, that hurts my feelings.... Wow! I could not have been any more wide open! The RB could have riverboat danced his self into the endzone.

I don't know if Pruitt is going to be the guy long term. I am, to be truthful, optimistic. But I can definitely say, in light of this video, Pruitt's initial reaction, and Pruitt's presser coverage for JG yesterday and today, Pruitt has my respect. Pruitt is saying the "miscommunication" was his (Pruitt's) fault. I don't think that is any where close to true, but I genuinely appreciate that he said it, whether for the good of JG or for the good of the team. Good job, coach. GBO!

JG should never be allowed to so much as dress out in uniform again for this team, much less play.

I have been on record for a while saying he may be a nice kid, but he's just a lousy quarterback. But what he did on this play goes way beyond any credit he might be given for his toughness last year, etc. He acted like a straight-up j**kass on that play and as another poster noted, it's inexcusable.

This is what has been happening all year with JG. The coaching staff does not know which play he will run once the ball is snapped. JP has yelled at him multiple times when he's come back to the sideline for missing opportunities.

The problem seems to be now, why is JT Shrout not picked up the offense any quicker than he has. He's been on the team for 2 years now. Why can Shrout not lead this team?
Game announcers alluded to this saying Chaney said JG would change the play for no apparent reason at all. Got me thinking he is point-shaving.

Lack of discipline. By the QB. Inexcusable.

The most disciplined player on the field has to be the QB. He’s an extension of the coach. And 10 other guys out there follow him.

Now off the field he might drink, chase women, etc but on the field, he has to earn respect and be under control.

Well, he’s dumber than we think then cause they weren’t covering 35 Sat night and he couldn’t do anything about that. Surely he didn’t know halftime line did he. (Bama -13)

Not the first time QB JG had a better idea. If he's going to continue to play this way, CPF can save a bunch of money by eliminating the OC position and reassign Jim Chaney to coach the kicking game.

Seeing it again pisses me off even worse. Why in the F would you even think you could sneak it versus that front with your guard pulling? JG is dumb as a damn rock for thinking that would work.

I totally agree pruitt was covering for jg. Anyone who knows anything about football can watch that play and the blockers, and rb, and te and know jg did not run the play as called. so why did pruitt cover for him, I am afraid he will start jg sat.. if maurer is not able. I sure hope not cause I don't trust jg at all.

What’s funny is, if the RB wouldn’t have scored, so many on here would be absolutely blasting Chaney for a stupid play call.
