Dooley should be fired if he loses again in the next 5 games. I don't know if it will happen but it should.

Maybe but it is none the less necessary because of where the program sits right now. UT NEEDS this recruiting class to be solid or else the next guy could struggle with the same things Dooley has dealt with.

Dooley probably shot too soon. If he'd still been at LT then maybe some folks here calling for his head would be calling for the other guy's head and suggesting Dooley as a replacement.

But he took the risk. The program has to come first and if he is a "lame duck" coach which is what he is with 5+ losses then he hurts the program.

"The program comes first". That is the exact reason why he should not be fired now. Dooley has built this program from a ****hole program to something with a little bit of respectability. If our AD decides to release Dooley, he had better have a sure bird in hand - give Dooley his 5 million for being raked through the mud by a bunch of ungrateful fans. And if Dooley is released - I hope like hell the next coach takes a long hard look at how the last coach was treated by all these so called fans.

Are you serious??? We don't have any respect from any SEC school because we're a joke of a team. Dooley has done nothing to take this once great team to anywhere other than mediocre at best.

Any announcement of a change has historically happened on Tuesday. Majors was fired on a Tuesday night and Fulmer was fired on the Tuesday after USCe.

lets break that trend this yr and FIRE DD on MONDAY!!!! Lord help us if he were to be fired on SUNDAY!! lol Cant get rid of him quick enough!! he has ruined this football program and I hope it recovers in the next 4 yrs...

What would be nice is for Hart to make a statement as to his intensions after the SC game. It would certainally stop all the speculation....Dooley stays......Dooley goes

No, only if Hart declared Dooley gone would that calm people down. If he declared his support for Dooley, everyone would just claim it is a smokescreen to bolster an image of stability in order to not scare off recruits. The rumor mill would ratchet up several notches simply because Hart made a statement.
