Why is it that I keep noticing people who claim to be fans of the University of Tennessee Football team, constantly talking down our team, coach, and other fans?? Now, I know that we have been down, and I know that we haven't had much to celebrate, but it's almost football season and I feel like there is a much bigger majority that is going to be taking a normal prescription of Xanax this season. It doesn't bother me, but honestly, we need a lot of help this year and next, and just trying to keep a somewhat positive vibe around the football program is going to be big on helping keep these coaches and players fixed on the goal of doing well on the field. If they feel like we have given up on them, what's to stop them from giving up themselves?? I remember when Tennessee Football used to be the talk of the town, and people just got goosebumps thinking about football season. I still do myself, but nowadays, I feel like people have other agendas. Maybe it's just here on the messages boards, maybe not, but I would tend to think our team would love to know that we actually supported them and their coaches.
It's football time in Tennessee now people, get with it.
