when I worked I did not get most Fed holiday off. If I didn't work I did not get paid. since I am a taxpayer paying the salaries of federal workers they should have to work most holidays too. they can have all the Fed holidays they want as long as the banks and the post office are open on most all of them.I think it's such a silly thing to gripe about.
We would have to look at year to year comparisons like economic output per capita (if such a kpi even existed) to know what the impact, if any, is.
According to Google AI....
No, it is not illegal to teach about Juneteenth in any state. While some states have passed laws restricting the teaching of certain topics related to race and history, these laws do not specifically ban the teaching of Juneteenth. Juneteenth is a federal holiday, and all states and the District of Columbia recognize it as a holiday or observance in some form
You posted a screen grab of an outright lie. Then you double down on it. Let's be clear, it isn't a "partial truth". In no state is it "illegal to teach Juneteenth". Then, you massage that into an effective ban (again, not illegal) because it is risky and the guidelines for teaching are ambiguous.Yeah, I knew it was a partial truth but you're underselling the laws.
Since teachers aren't entirely sure what they can teach about CRT, it's effectively a ban on Juneteenth for those not willing to risk it.
In TN, you're not allowed to talk about race stuff that will cause guilt. So that seems vague enough to be a ban on Juneteenth.
I am not sure what happened but his posting now is several degrees off of TDC. It wasn't always like this.

I hope when DJT is in our rear view, this current posting style of yours makes a return to how you used to post.

It's an outright lie because the number isn't 15? How is it an outright lie?
If you can't teach stuff about race that causes guilt, can you even teach about slavery?
I remember when you were against vague laws that limited freedom.
And I made these points about the vagueness of laws when we were banning CRT
